PRICING AND FAQ

Pricing

How much does it cost?

Our prices are worked out individually, based on the job requirements.

Factors we need to take in to account include:

• How long the assignment will take
• How many people we will need in the crew
• What additional permissions, if any, are needed
• How much editing will be required
• Which equipment will be used.

PAYMENT TERMS: 30 Days (unless by prior agreement / discussion) with 20% of the fee to be PAID IN ADVANCE to secure the booking (unless by special circumstances).

We will be happy to discuss any of the above with you in greater detail and think you will find us fair, reasonable and transparent.

As a guide:
A single visit to a property to take some estate agency type photographs and or video with no access complexity would be roughly £125. This would be discounted if there were a number of properties that could be photographed on the same day in generally the same geographic area or very close to our base.

Postponements, Cancellations and Weather

Remote controlled aerial filming is naturally affected by the flying conditions. If due to weather (i.e rain, strong winds etc) and we are not able to shoot we will not charge the Client if we can make alternative arrangements for the shoot to happen at another time. The 20% booking fee is simply transferred to another day when we can shoot.

If the shoot cannot be re-scheduled (which we usually know in advance of the carrying out the job), we will discuss cancellation policy and potential fees with the Client and come to a fair and reasonable compromise.

If a job is cancelled due to other issues and simply not re-scheduled due to the Client no longer requiring our services the 20% deposit will not be refunded, unless by a pre-agreement, and if additional costs have been incurred these will also have to be met by the Client.

HOW HIGH AND FAR CAN YOU FLY?

Whilst the equipment is technically capable of being controlled from over a mile away and up to 4500m above sea level, the CAA regulations allow us to fly only within visual line of sight, up to 500m away and up to 400ft above ground level. This however is usually more than enough to get the required images or video.

HOW CLOSE TO PEOPLE AND BUILDINGS CAN YOU FLY?

Where the building, structure, vehicles, vessels or people are deemed to be under the control of the operation, then the only restriction on proximity is safety. In all other cases then we can only fly within 50m of people, vessels, vehicles or structures and not overhead or within 150m of an organised open-air assembly of more than 1,000 people.

WHAT CONDITIONS CAN'T YOU FLY IN?

Unfortunately, we cannot fly in the rain! Strong winds can also be a problem (especially if we are flying near to buildings, trees or other objects) and safety of flying the UAV is paramount. Please see above for details on weather and cancellations.
